To ensure happiness amongst your flowers I will share tips. The life span of cut flowers is normally a week. People may recommend a homemade flower food but floral preservative packages are best to keep your flowers alive. The stems will suck water faster if you cut there stems on a 45 degree angle with a knife.
Before putting your cut flowers in a vase…clean the vase with a solution of 10 parts hot water to one part bleach. Bacteria can be harboring in that vase, we need it very clean. Next strip off any leaves that will be below the waterline. Place arrangement far from a heat source such as radiator or fireplace.
Enjoy a vase full of happy flowers!
