Rain makes the flowers grow! Rain is the essence of spring. I love to run outside during a downpour. I think we all need to let go and do that! The flowers shout hallelujah to the soaking rains. Raising there spirits and ours. Try it sometime. Rainy days dont have to be a downer….Think of yourself as a flower…it will make you happy.

The hydrangea is a flower that needs water…the prefix is “hydro” for water. Planted outside they need a wet spot on your lawn…need a drainage area. Cut hydrangea need a fresh cut daily and hot water to keep them from wilting. They are temperamental in bouquets. Sorry hydrangea lovers!
