Another name for the cockscomb is celosia. You will probably find these at a summer farmstand this time of the year. The name came from its resemblance to a roosters comb. It also resembles brains! I saw this garden of them in the sunshine…so cool looking!

I like to cut them and arrange them in a cube vase nice and tight together without any other flowers. They are interesting on there own. As shown below-you can line a smaller cube inside the outer cube and line with cut lemons or limes.
