It’s too bad that not many people plant caladiums as houseplants. They have large, arrow-shaped and paper-thin leaves that come in a striking array of colors and patterns. A mass of caladium can be an explosion of whites, greens, reds and pinks! This photo says it all. But most people plant this outside.
They like to be planted in a shady area. They thrive in the shade. They are bulb plants so you may want to mound the soil around it. I read that they can tolerate 4 hrs of sun a day and ones planted in the sun are brighter colors. That’s pretty cool 🙂
