This is my pride and joy…..my varigated african violet! I bought it at a farmers market years ago and it is flourishing! It has a beautiful varigated coloring on the leaf. The woman who sold it to me gave me magic stones to put underneath the base tray. The stones are to humidify the plant…but I call them magic 🙂 When we moved recently-this was the item I worried about surviving the trip the most. It was 95 degrees that day….but my “pretty lady” survived. 🙂
My mother always had the perfect window exposure to grow these. Many women come in the flower shop with difficulties growing these african violets. I feel its the light exposure and lightly watering fand a little love for success.
